The objectives of this group are:

• Ensure the industry receives regular information and updates on training and professional development initiatives and opportunities
• Support the development of a professional industry which offers training and career pathways and opportunities
• Foster collaboration amongst all stakeholders (including security providers, security training providers, Skills, Service WDC, government agencies and customers)
• Raise industry standards by improving the quality, accessibility and uptake of industry training
• Forecast future requirements of the security industry and its stakeholders to ensure training and development programmes are fit for purpose.
