He angitūtanga: The opportunity
Imagine an organization that mixes together the New Zealand famous Auckland Zoo, Auckland Art Gallery, Auckland Live, Auckland Stadiums, Auckland Conventions and New Zealand Maritime Museum.
This is a new opportunity, reporting to the Security Threat Manager. You will build relationships within RFA and will map, measure and maintain oversight of the existing security culture and identify areas for change and improvement with the goal of delivering high quality innovative security solutions.
This is an exciting role which you can make your own by developing and delivering an effective security culture change across the business. Build positive relationships and communications and provide training and awareness activities around RFA security issues.
He kōrero mōu: About you
To be successful in this role you will be able to build strong relationships and work with stakeholders at all levels from senior management to security staff on the ground.
This is a key role and is ready for someone to take ownership and develop the security culture for RFA.
Your previous experience could include security training needs analysis, security training and awareness program development, instructional design, security training delivery, as well as coaching and developing staff to achieve best-practice security outcomes. Plan, develop and run security desktop and live exercises and simulations to test security readiness and response across the business
Your experience:
- Have at least 5 – 10 years’ experience within a security related environment
- Project management skills and strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Ability to think creatively and come up with solutions
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programmes and database reporting systems.
- Be self-directed with a positive can-do attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to present and get ideas across
- Tertiary education with emphasis on security or related field
- A full NZ Driver’s License
