The objectives of this group are:

• Ensure the industry receives regular information and updates on matters impacting on the electronic security sector
• Support the development of a professional industry which offers training and career pathways and opportunities
• Promote clarity and consistency in building compliance, guidelines and standards
• Foster collaboration amongst all stakeholders (including security providers, security training providers, ETEC, Construction and Infrastructure WDC, government agencies and customers)
• Raise industry standards by improving the quality, accessibility and uptake of industry training
• Forecast future requirements of the electronic security industry and its stakeholders to ensure industry needs are met.
