    Security Supervisor or Operations Manager of the Year 2017

    This award recognises those who through security expertise, operational knowledge, customer service and skilful and innovative leadership ensure the delivery of services that exceed the customer expectations. Outstanding performers in this category will be operational leaders and innovators who are setting examples that others wish to follow.

    • Nominations should describe how the Supervisor/Operations Manager has added value to the organisation and the impact on the performance of their team or department and highlighting the specific leadership qualities that they demonstrate.
    • - The judges will be looking for evidence of outstanding performance in:
      i) Discussing ways in which the role has driven security performance
      ii) Highlighting the factors that enable the nominee to excel
      iii) Identifying ways in which the role has influenced wider business operations
      iv) Demonstrating the improvements made to people and/or processes and systems.

  • An independent panel of judges, including representatives of the NZSA Board, will convene to select a winner. The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winner will be announced at the NZSA-The Skills Organisation Awards Dinner held at Te Papa (National Museum of New Zealand) Wellington, Friday 25 August 2017.
